Kanye West, now known as Ye, along with his Yeezy sneaker business, faces a lawsuit from a former assistant accusing him of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and breach of contract.
According to a report by The Guardian, the plaintiff, Lauren Pisciotta, claims she endured intentional infliction of mental suffering and seeks $3 million in compensation for the hostile work environment and breach of contract.
Pisciotta alleges that her employment with West began in July 2021, as he was preparing for the launch of his Yeezy fashion line. She was reportedly promised a $1 million salary with the stipulation that she would be available 24/7. Despite agreeing to these demanding terms, Pisciotta claims her promised compensation was never fully realized.
In her lawsuit, Pisciotta, 35, states that she lost her position in 2022 after failing to receive a $4 million bonus promised to her upon becoming West’s “chief of staff.” Additionally, she alleges that a multimillion-dollar severance payment she was entitled to was never made.
Pisciotta further asserts that she had been earning an extra $1 million from her activities on OnlyFans until West requested she cease using the platform to become more “God-like.”
In exchange, West allegedly promised to increase her salary to $2 million annually to offset the lost income. However, Pisciotta claims this salary adjustment was never implemented.

The lawsuit underscores significant grievances related to workplace promises and professional treatment, adding to the controversies surrounding the rapper and his business practices. Pisciotta’s claims bring to light serious issues of workplace ethics and contractual obligations within high-profile celebrity enterprises.
Kanye West’s legal team has accused Lauren Pisciotta of blackmail and labeled her lawsuit as “baseless.” In a statement to Page Six, they claimed Ye plans to countersue, alleging Pisciotta pursued him sexually to secure employment and benefits, and resorted to extortion when rebuffed.
The team also accused her of stealing West’s cell phone to destroy incriminating records. They stated she was terminated for being unqualified, demanding excessive compensation, and exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
