The Blum team has officially announced the highly anticipated launch of Season 2 of its airdrop campaign, urging its vibrant community to stay alert for the big reveal.
Taking to their X (formerly Twitter) account, which boasts 5.4 million followers, Blum shared a teaser featuring a screenshot of a Ton-funded wallet, subtly hinting at a partnership with the Ton ecosystem. “Season 2 is about to drop, and it’s gonna change everything #BlumSeason2,” the post read, sparking excitement among the crypto community.
Blum made waves in the crypto world earlier this year, particularly during Season 1, which dominated Nigeria’s cryptocurrency landscape alongside projects like Tapswap and Hamster Kombat. The Blum Tap to Earn airdrop campaign contributed significantly to the mid-2024 Tap to Earn frenzy in the country. However, the trend eventually lost steam as several projects failed to meet user expectations.
Launched in April 2024, Blum is a hybrid cryptocurrency exchange that bridges the gap between centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) trading platforms. It combines the best features of both models, offering users a seamless and comprehensive trading experience.

The platform officially debuted on October 20, 2024, with its first airdrop and token listing. Prior to the launch Pre-minting: Began on October 16, 2024; Pre-market token trading: Kicked off on October 17, 2024, on Gate.io.
Blum’s roots trace back to June 2024, when it was introduced as a Telegram-based game. Its unique airdrop mechanism, powered through a Telegram bot, allows users to easily participate by tapping a launch button on the Blum interface. Additionally, the project runs an active referral program, rewarding users for every 10 new participants they bring on board.
While specific details about Season 2 remain under wraps, the teaser suggests that the upcoming campaign will build on the success of the first, with enhanced features and a stronger partnership with the Ton ecosystem.
Blum has consistently emphasized innovation, and the integration of Ton funding hints at more robust functionality and opportunities for users.
