The announcement was made on Sunday by Segun Tomori, Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake. The MoU signing took place during President Bola Tinubu’s official visit to France, signaling a renewed focus on international collaboration in Nigeria’s solid minerals sector.
The agreement targets critical minerals such as copper, lithium, nickel, cobalt, and rare earth elements. These materials are pivotal for the production of clean energy technologies and play a vital role in the global transition to renewable energy.
