The Arbitrum Foundation has announced a new initiative to drive artificial intelligence (AI) innovation within its ecosystem. The Trailblazer AI Grant Program, unveiled on November 27, will provide $1 million in funding to developers and creators working on groundbreaking AI projects built on the Arbitrum network.
This initiative marks a significant step in combining blockchain technology with artificial intelligence, offering developers an opportunity to leverage Arbitrum’s Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution for low fees, high throughput, and minimal latency.
The Trailblazer AI Grant Program aims to attract innovative AI builders to Arbitrum by providing eligible projects with up to $10,000 in funding. To qualify, teams must:
- Develop a live AI agent integrated with Arbitrum.
- Showcase innovation, user engagement, and growth potential.
- Demonstrate a unique value proposition within the AI and blockchain space.
- Align with the broader ARB ecosystem.
The program focuses on diverse use cases, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs), ERC-20 tokens, and more. Successful applicants will gain access to Arbitrum’s thriving developer community and a global audience, positioning their projects for long-term success.

Arbitrum has seen growing adoption as a platform for AI-based technologies. Projects like Allora Network, ARC Agents, Eternal AI, Hyperbolic, and Ora are already leveraging the network for its robust infrastructure. These projects highlight the network’s ability to cater to AI applications, from decentralized agents to innovative token solutions.
With the Trailblazer AI Grant Program, the foundation aims to bring thousands of new AI applications and agents to Arbitrum, further solidifying its role as a hub for AI and blockchain convergence.
The $1 million AI grant initiative is part of a larger effort by the Arbitrum Foundation to enhance its ecosystem. On November 26, developer platform Alchemy launched a $10 million grant fund for projects building on Arbitrum’s Orbit chains, offering up to $500,000 in credits per team.
Earlier this year, in June, the Arbitrum community approved a proposal to strengthen its gaming ecosystem through the Gaming Catalyst Program (GCP). This initiative allocated 225 million ARB tokens—valued at over $215 million—to support game developers and users over the next three years.
