Israeli Military Issues Warnings in South Lebanon Amid Escalating Conflict with Hezbollah
As tensions between Israel and Hezbollah escalate, the Israeli military has issued a stern warning to residents of southern Lebanon, urging them not to return to their homes. This comes as Israeli forces continue to engage in fierce battles with Hezbollah militants along the border region.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee cautioned Lebanese civilians, stating, “For your own protection, do not return to your homes until further notice. Do not go south; anyone who goes south may put his life at risk.” The warning reflects the volatile and dangerous conditions in southern Lebanon as Israeli forces target Hezbollah positions in or near populated villages.
The Israeli military’s actions in Lebanon are part of a broader, multi-front conflict. In recent weeks, Israel has ramped up military operations not only in Lebanon but also in Gaza, where it continues to battle Palestinian militants.

“We call on medical teams to avoid contact with Hezbollah members and not to cooperate with them,” he said, adding that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) would take action against any vehicle transporting armed individuals, regardless of the type of vehicle.
