According to El Chiringuito, Julian Alvarez has declined a new four-year contract offer from Manchester City, expressing a desire to seek new opportunities elsewhere.
Both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in the World Cup-winning forward, but any potential suitor will need to meet the hefty £70 million (€81m/$89m) valuation to secure his services from the Etihad Stadium.
Losing Alvarez would be a significant setback for Manchester City. Although he has not garnered the same star status as Erling Haaland or Kevin De Bruyne, the Argentine international has been a crucial contributor under Pep Guardiola.
