The England international has reportedly attracted interest from European heavyweights, including AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona. However, his substantial wages complicate the prospect of a loan move, leaving his immediate future in limbo.

Brazilian winger Antony, who has struggled to make an impact since his high-profile move, appears close to securing a loan deal with Real Betis. Similarly, Tyrell Malacia is rumored to be nearing the exit door, signaling a potential shakeup in the defensive lineup.

Former United defender Rio Ferdinand weighed in on the situation during his podcast, advocating for decisive action to restore harmony in the dressing room.

“Antony’s off—someone told me Real Betis or somewhere like that. Just get them out, man!” Ferdinand said. “When you have players who are unhappy and want to leave, it creates a toxic energy. It spreads, and it affects everyone. The club needs a fresh start.”
