According to a report by TEAMtalk, Chelsea have finally run out of patience with their £89 million (€105m/$109m) signing, Mykhailo Mudryk, and are preparing to offload the winger during the upcoming January transfer window.

The Ukrainian international has struggled to make an impact this season, managing just 61 minutes of game time in the Premier League. His limited appearances and lack of form have raised concerns about his future at Stamford Bridge.

Despite Chelsea’s willingness to part ways with Mudryk, the report suggests that a permanent transfer in the winter window is unlikely, as clubs typically refrain from making large financial moves during that period. However, there is interest from French Ligue 1 side Marseille, who are reportedly keen on signing the winger on loan.

Mudryk’s struggles have not gone unnoticed by those within the club. Last month, Enzo Maresca voiced his frustration over the 23-year-old’s underwhelming performances.

Additionally, the arrival of Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho during the summer transfer window has further diminished Mudryk’s chances of securing a regular spot in the starting lineup, pushing him further down the pecking order.

As Chelsea look ahead to reinvigorating their squad, they are exploring ways to offload Mudryk, with a potential loan move to Marseille on the horizon.

Meanwhile, the West London club will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they face West Ham United at the London Stadium, hoping to build momentum as they navigate a challenging season.
