Chelsea are reportedly preparing to reward Jackson with a contract extension following his impressive debut season, according to The Telegraph.
The Senegalese forward initially signed an eight-year deal when he joined the Blues last summer, but the club is now looking to extend that by an additional two years. This extension would not only improve Jackson’s wages but also secure his future at Stamford Bridge until 2033.
Since Todd Boehly took over, Chelsea has prioritized signing young talent to long-term contracts, a strategy that reflects the club’s focus on building a team for the future. It also appears that the club is eager to recognize and reward players who have made significant contributions.
Jackson’s potential contract extension comes on the heels of reports that Cole Palmer is also set to receive a two-year extension, which would place him among the club’s highest earners, following an outstanding debut season.

Jackson, who is 23 years old, is determined to build on last season’s performance, where he scored 17 goals across all competitions.
In the Premier League, he found the net 14 times, though his expected goals (xG) tally was 19.86, according to understat.com. Reflecting on his season in an April interview with Sky Sports, Jackson admitted that he “should have scored more.”
“I miss a lot, but I’m trying to create more chances and score more. Hopefully, next year it’s going to be better,” Jackson said, expressing his desire to improve.
As Chelsea prepares to kick off their Premier League campaign with a match against Manchester City on Sunday, Jackson will undoubtedly be eager to make a strong start and prove that he can exceed last season’s achievements.
