Abraham was highly sought after just two seasons ago, following an impressive campaign where he netted 27 goals across all competitions.
However, the long injury layoff has led to something of a reset in his career. Staying at Roma, where he can secure regular playing time, may be the key to reigniting his goal-scoring prowess and driving the team to success this season.
As Roma prepares to return to Serie A action next Sunday evening against Cagliari, the club will be hoping that Abraham can recapture the form that made him one of Europe’s most promising strikers during the 2021/22 season.
Last season, Roma finished sixth in the league, but with a rejuvenated Abraham leading the line, they could once again become a formidable force in the Italian top flight.
