Speculation had circulated about Neymar potentially joining Inter Miami to reunite with Messi and Luis Suarez. However, a serious knee ligament injury limited Neymar to just five appearances for Al-Hilal.

Despite this setback, he remains committed to his current contract and has hinted at staying with Al-Hilal for at least another season.

Following Al-Hilal’s qualification for the 2025 Club World Cup by winning the AFC Champions League in 2021, Neymar expressed his enthusiasm about competing in the prestigious tournament.

Speaking to FIFA, Neymar emphasized the honor of representing Al-Hilal on such a global stage, highlighting the team’s readiness to face the best clubs and athletes in the world.

The revamped Club World Cup is scheduled for June to July 2025 and will be held in the United States. Neymar’s commitment to Al-Hilal means he will not be joining Messi and company in Miami, as he focuses on contributing to Al-Hilal’s ambitions and pursuing further major honors with the club.
