Amid the intensity of Iranian revenge on airstrike, the United States President, Joe Biden has expressed his expectation that Iran will attack Israel sooner rather than later.
While Israel has not officially claimed responsibility for the attack on an Iranian consulate in Syria, it is widely speculated to be behind it, which claimed the lives of top commanders earlier this month.
According to US officials speaking to CBS News, a major assault on Israel could occur imminently.
Israel, however, asserts its readiness to defend itself, with the US President, Joe Biden issuing a direct message to Iran: “Don’t.”

President Biden, at the White House on Friday responding to reporters’ questions, particularly about the risk to US troops, reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, Biden said:
“We are devoted to the defense of Israel. We will support Israel, We will help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed.”
The US had observed Iran repositioning military assets internally, including drones and cruise missiles, suggesting preparations for attacks on Israeli targets from within Iranian territory, according to two individuals familiar with US intelligence. One source mentioned the observation of Iran readying up to 100 cruise missiles.
However, it remained unclear whether Iran’s actions signaled an imminent attack from its soil or were posturing aimed at deterring potential Israeli or US counterstrikes on Iranian territory.

Hamas and Hezbollah were designated as terrorist organizations by various countries, including the United States, Israel, and several members of the European Union.
