Draymond Green Ejected Few Minutes in Game VS Magic

American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association, Draymond Jamal Green was ejected in a opening minutes into the Warriors’ Game against Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.

This marked Green’s first ejection since serving a 16-game suspension by the National Basketball Association (NBA) due to his past misconduct, which included an incident where he struck Phoenix center Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

“It’s regrettable. He earned it, But he will recover” remarked Warriors coach Steve Kerr following Golden State’s 101-93 victory over the Magic.

With 8:24 remaining in the first quarter on Wednesday, Green engaged in a heated argument with referee Ron Acosta over a foul called on his teammate, Andrew Wiggins. During the altercation, Magic forward Paolo Banchero capitalized with a layup and a subsequent free throw.

Green received two rapid technical fouls, resulting in his automatic ejection.

“After an extended outburst, Green directed severe profanity towards an official,” explained crew chief Mitchell Irvin.
