Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has dismissed rumors suggesting that Nollywood veteran Zack Orji has passed away.

Recall that on Tuesday morning, the social media was flooded with news of the passing of the esteemed veteran Nollywood actor.

Taking to his social  media page, Rollas refuted the death rumors, stating that the veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji is alive.

He, however, urged the public to disregard the fake news spreading around the social media regarding the veteran actor’s current state of health.

AGN denounced such conduct as completely unacceptable, emphasizing the callousness of individuals who spread false information. He said:

“Mr Zack Orji is alive
Please ignore mischief makers who enjoy circulating fake news.

This is to show how wicked some people can be. It is totally unacceptable.

He will not die but live to declare the good works of God in Jesus name”

The rumor came days after Amaechi Muonagor, a veteran actor, passed away after battling kidney ailment.

Zack Orji had been in the news about his ill- health after it was reported that he had slumped and was in a critical condition.

Additional details regarding Zack Orji’s current health condition have not been made public. The esteemed actor is presently undergoing intensive medical treatment.
